It is easy to assume that smart, experienced leaders naturally make wise decisions.

Proverbs 11:2 reminds us that with humility comes wisdom.

Without humility, we close ourselves off from the very thing that protects us from mistakes.

Third, many leaders move before they seek.

They act first, then reflect later.

Wise leaders reverse that.

They pause before they decide.
They create space to think, pray, and seek guidance.
They are not afraid to slow down in order to move correctly.

Because the truth is, the cost of a rushed decision is often greater than the cost of waiting.

Wisdom is not about hesitation.
It is about intentionality.
